A WINTER TRAILS VENUE IN NORTH FORK PARK

trails for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking

WINTER HAS RE-ARRIVED

So much for SPRING conditions.  We have received about 20 inches of snow over the past 4 -5 days (it's easy to loose track)..it has been wet, temperatures have been high.  We got 12 inches overnight. SO, it's like starting over with grooming.. the cat went out last night and did his best on the main road - it was heavy, wet and temperatures were not freezing hard enough to make it any easier.  Temperatures are dropping today and it is supposed to get a good freeze tonight...maybe that will help.  As always, Check the GROOMING REPORT for the best information.

BIKING IS DONE...

SNOWSHOEING will be the best.. but be prepared for deep, heavy snow - the single track trails are not groomed.

It's been an EPIC season for snow - we've received a total of 255 inches - and it's still coming down.  Thanks for your patience and understanding - it's been challenging all season!

PLEASE GIVE MOOSE ON TRAILS ALOT OF SPACE (as in turn around). DO NOT APPROACH, CHASE, TORMENT or LET DOGS ANYWHERE NEAR THEM.

As always CHECK the GROOMING REPORT HERE for the best information!

Parking Lot: USE EXTREME CAUTION IN THE PARKING LOT. If you do not have good snow tires and all-wheel drive, the lot may be a challenge.  Parking will continue to be a challenge despite the expanded lot... There has been an ice layer on the lot that may be there until spring, so please slow down and come prepared with good snow tires.   We will do our best to manage the parking with your cooperation!  THANKS!
