Hello to the Nordic Skiers and Snowshoers of Northfork Park!
Soon we will be
skiing on the wonderfully groomed trails at North Fork Park.
As you probably know, all of the grooming is provided by the volunteers of
Ogden Nordic, a non-profit group dedicated to cross country skiing and snowshoe
in our area.
Unfortunately,
we do not receive any tax money or government assistance to maintain the trail
system. So, it is up to us to raise the money for fuel, equipment repair,
and replacement.
This year we
need to raise $10,000 in total, with $5,500 dedicated for fuel alone. So, we are
asking everyone to do their part by paying their way to enjoy the trails.
If we follow this fee schedule we can keep the grooming going for the 7th
straight year!
Season Pass Prices:
$75 for single,
$60 for single with 2hrs volunteer greeter time (ask for
details)
$35 for kids 12-19
$175.00 Family pass
$5.00 Daily User Fee
$10.00 Family Day User Fee
Under 12 free
Please make
checks payable to Ogden Nordic and mail to PO Box 57, Eden, Utah 84310.
This amount is tax deductable using Fed Tax ID # 74-2479192.
We will be
sending a 2008-09 season pass button to proudly wear when you ski at the
park…it says (more or less) “I am paying my share for grooming, are
you?”
