Dave Jenkins

Dave grew up on skis in the Central Wasatch Mtns. A true water sports fan he rides the hydrogen/oxygen mix all year on lakes, rivers and ski trails.  Sharing his passions is a way of life he pursued as a ski instructor, hang gliding instructor, river guide in Cataract Canyon, secondary science teacher and currently as the teacher/facilitator of the Swanson's North Fork Environmental Learning Center located in Liberty, Utah.  Daily he is on the trails sharing nature with kids from Weber County.  When the snow flies students put on skis and snowshoes and glide on their discoveries of animal tracks and winter wonder.

When Dave took the job at the Environmental Center in 2002, he shouldered the responsibility of ski trail grooming for all of North Fork Park.  With a group of hard working volunteers that grooming effort has gone from very primitive to very professional with consistently good grooming all winter long.

At his core, Dave is a family man, devoted to his wife and 3 children sharing adventures with them whenever he can.
