The first North Fork race of the season went off with relatively warm weather and great grooming up Coldwater Canyon.  Thanks to all of our volunteers and racers who helped to make this event fun and successful!  Thanks also to local companies including Kuhl Clothing and Salomon for providing some great raffle prizes!

Congratulations to first place Kevin Johnson who completed the challenging 6.3km course in just 19:43.  Jeff Metzger followed in second place with a time of 21:27 followed by Brian Smith at 22:37.

The women were beat out today by Kristen Bell with a time of 29:35.  Second place went to Amber Mounday with a time of 32:32 in her first race after learning to skate ski only 2 weeks ago!  Mo Mislivets rounded out the top three with a time of 38:06.

The juniors were also out today and congratulations to Jack Davis for being the fastest of the junior men with a time of 11:32 on the 3k course.  Ann Marie Davis was the fastest junior woman today with a time of 9:05 on the 1.5k course.  

THANKS AGAIN TO ALL WHO JOINED US FOR A GREAT DAY AT NORTH FORK PARK.  Remember we have a clinic scheduled for next Tuesday January 12th and our next race, The Coldwater Crucible, is scheduled for Tuesday January 26th.  All events are scheduled to start at 4:30pm at the South Gate parking lot.
