Skate-Ski Clinic

Because of overwhelming demand, Kristina Owens, will offer one more Skate-Ski Clinic. It will be held March 3 at 9:00-10:30 for beginners and 11:00-1:30 for intermediates. The cost is $30/with trail fees and per-registration is required. Please contact Alan Wheelwright at 801-648-8838 for more information.

Friday March 2, 2012 7:00 p.m.
Come and enjoy a unique social ski experience at North Fork Park under a beautiful Utah almost-full moon. There will be free hot chocolate, brownies and fire pits to make the skiing more enjoyable. Bring a headlight for safer skiing and meet at the O’Center (South Gate).
Ski rentals available.
This event is open to all ages. A $5.00 individual, $10 family, or season pass is required for all participants.

5th Race this Wednesday

O'Nordic friends and racers - Our 5th race of the season is scheduled this week on Wednesday. Registration will go until 5pm and the race will start just after. Kristen has planned a 2-lap relay event for us. It's intended to be two people classic then skate but we're all about FUN RACES so you can just do whatever technique you want. Kristen is planning to have lots of prizes. COME OUT AND JOIN US!

NFFS Race 3 Cancelled

The NFFS Race #3 scheduled for Wednesday 1/11/2012 has been cancelled due to icy corduroy at North Fork Park. Skiing is actually quite good but with icy spots and no groomable loop, the race host for Wednesday has cancelled the event. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming ski events. The snow will come eventually!

We did it! Main road is groomed. Horse corral is icy and groomed. Cold Water is groomed. Be careful of ice under corduroy. Enjoy. 11:00 PM Sat. Evening.

Track Status New Year's Eve

NEW Motto "Mad River North Fork...SKI It IF CAN". Cold temps and wind overnight send temps plumiting from 54 to 16. Good snow for you eastern folks. AKA "Packed Powder"....Severly packed....some you can see through. We groomed twice to break it up. Some good skiing...some terrible. But any ski is a good one.

Chicks on Sticks (girls) & Nordic Dogzz (boys)

A FREE program designed for kids to have fun, learn to XC Ski, and develop team camaraderie. Ski gear is available free of charge (first come, first served).

Join us every Friday, starting January 6, from 4:00-5:30 at North Fork Park. Meet at the Nordic Center. Program end date will be dependent on snow.
